10th St. between Arch and Race

Ting-Wongs has been my go to restaurant in China Town for about 7 years now. There is absolutely nothing fancy about this place and you would probably walk by it a thousand times without even considering giving it a try, but they have some of the best, simple food in the area. I’m a creature of habit when I go there as well. I always order the same two dishes. I start with a big bowl of shrimp or beef noodle soup and then attempt to finish a plate of beef with egg sauce on rice. You really can’t go wrong with beef with egg sauce, as that might be one of my favorite dishes in Philadelphia. Not only does the food taste great, the average price of each dish is about $5 and your food is ready within five minutes of ordering it. If you are in a rush or low on cash or both, Ting-Wongs has to be one of the best options in Philadelphia.
